You will be the primary voice and ambassador of our business in the region. You will manage a dynamic team to win our top markets and establish a strong Bosh Stays presence in new markets. You will raise the opportunities and concerns of the market and set the priorities to grow those markets. Together with your functional partners, you will set transparent objectives and execute the Bosh Stays strategy on the ground. You will be a natural-born leader, capable of influence and with an analytical approach to driving decisions. Your communication skills will be exceptional, with a proven ability to train, support and inspire a team.
Responsibilities
- Curate and ensure successful local planning and execution of our global strategy, which includes but is not limited to the following;
Bosh Associate Program: A clear plan to increase sign-ups on our page to at least 2000 in the month of february. This associate plan should capture campus ambassadors, influencers and affiliates who would recommend our business to people. This plan should also create a community of Boshers via the same, whom we will reward for leaving reviews on the experience centers, bar & restaurants on our website.
Bosh Business: See to the implementation of a well Prepared focussed marketing plan for our B2B, with clear process flow from initial communication with the companies to closing the companies and setting them up for business. Grow our clientele for Bosh Business. With a target of 20 companies in communication, and close at least five(5)
Onboarding 100 apartments in Lagos and other regions (South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Warri, Benin etc) via Ads Campaign and other methods monthly.
Onboard 200 restaurants and events leads, tour operators in Nigeria and other African countries monthly
- Work with core functions such as Legal, Public Policy, Marketing, PR, Product, Customer & Business Experience to ensure strategy works well with all departments involved
- Steer the office by ensuring everyone knows the strategy, embodies the values of the company and has the right opportunities to develop and strive.
- Be the team lead for organizing corporate activities 5. Be the primary advocate and expert for the region under your control.
- Proactively identify new business development opportunities within the market. Steer the customer & business team to success that helps us grow our presence in the market.
- Act as company spokesperson in interviews with key media, liaise with our PR organization and external agencies.
- Inform and support local Public Policy strategy by meeting with government officials and local associations.
- This role reports directly to the CEO
Qualifications:
- >7 years of professional experience of which >5 managing cross-functional teams at dynamic international growth companies
- Experience in B2B and B2C business models, strong operational experience is a must.
- Background in Entrepreneurship, Operations, Marketing/Business Development
- Proven track record of having worked in a rapidly growing international organization.
- Proven exposure to hospitality & real estate rental is a plus.
- Ability to lead through influence in a cross-functional international environment.
- Fluent English, second language is a plus
- Experience on being spokesperson in the media. Having a policy component to the profile is a plus.
- Very strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
