Job Description:

• The Logistics and Operations Officer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating end-to-end logistics operations to ensure efficient movement and delivery of goods.
• This includes managing inventory control, coordinating transportation for last mile and long-haul deliveries, supervising warehouse activities such as loading and unloading, and verifying inventory accuracy.
• The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate transportation and delivery schedules for last mile and long-haul operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory checks.
• Supervise warehouse loading and unloading processes to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods in line with operational timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, shipments, and inventory movements.
• Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and suppliers to streamline logistics workflows.
• Address and resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
• Solid understanding of inventory management, transportation, and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet-based tools.
• Familiarity with Last Mile Delivery, Long Haul Transportation, and ITN (Insecticide-Treated Net) Distribution is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
