The Role
We are looking for an experienced, energetic Sales Representative to grow Bio Pharmachemie’s presence across the East region.
This is a field role: most of your day will be spent visiting veterinary shops, agro-stores, pharmacies, feed retailers, and farms, building relationships that turn into steady, repeat orders.
This role is built for someone who already knows what it means to be a sales representative someone who has carried a sales bag before, who knows how to plan a route, open a new account, and close a sale at the counter.
What You Will Do
Field Sales & Territory Growth
- Visit veterinary shops, agro-stores, pharmacies, feed retailers, and farms across your assigned region — aim for 5 to 7 physical visits every working day.
- Make 10 to 15 calls a day to new contacts to build your pipeline of customers.
- Capture 3 to 5 orders per day and send them to the Customer Care team for processing.
- Open new customer accounts and bring back customers who have gone quiet.
- Send a short WhatsApp follow-up to every customer within a few hours of your visit.
Building Strong Customer Relationships
- Get to know shop owners, distributors, veterinarians, and farmers in your territory by name.
- Explain how Bio Pharmachemie products work — what they treat, how to use them, pack sizes, and dosage.
- Run simple product demonstrations for farmers and shop staff when needed.
- Keep customers confident and ready to reorder by giving them clear, accurate information on price, stock availability, and delivery times.
Making Bio Pharmachemie Products Easy to Find and Buy
- Arrange Bio Pharmachemie products neatly on shelves and counters in every outlet you visit.
- Put up posters, stickers, and price boards where the shop owner agrees.
- Make sure products are priced correctly and clearly displayed.
Watching the Market
- Keep an eye on what competitors are selling, how they price their products, and any promotions they run.
- Share what you see and hear in your weekly report — this market intelligence helps the whole company plan ahead.
Reports and Records
- Fill in a daily activity sheet on Excel or Google Sheets — visits made, orders taken, and notes from the field.
- Submit your weekly field report every Friday by 5pm.
- Record every visit and order in the company system (ERPRev) the same day, by 7pm.
What You Need to Bring
Experience & Education
- At least 2 years of experience working as a sales representative — ideally in pharmaceuticals, veterinary products, agriculture, or FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods).
- OND, HND, or BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
Skills You Already Have
- You know how to plan a sales route and manage your own day in the field without close supervision.
- You are comfortable on the phone all day calling customers, following up, and building rapport comes naturally to you.
- You can use Excel or Google Sheets confidently enough to fill in a daily report on your own —entering numbers, simple totals, and notes.
- You write clear, honest, and on-time reports that your manager can rely on.
- You understand what the sales representative role really involves — long days in the field, building relationships, and hitting targets month after month.
Mobility & Readiness
- You are ready to move around your assigned territory every working day, rain or sun.
- You are open to occasional travel outside your base location when the business needs it.
- You are comfortable working within a pharmaceutical and animal health distribution company his means following product handling and storage rules, and representing the Bio Pharmachemie brand professionally at every stop.
