Role Summary

• An IT/Media Officer manages the organization’s information technology infrastructure while also handling digital media, communications, and content management.

Key Responsibilities
Information Technology (IT) Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems.
• Ensure data security and perform regular backups.
• Install, configure, and update IT equipment and software.
• Provide technical support to staff and assist with IT-related issues.
• Monitor system performance and optimize IT resources.
• Maintain IT documentation and user manuals.

Media & Communications Responsibilities:

• Manage the organization’s social media platforms and online presence.
• Create, edit, and publish digital content, including images, videos, and graphics.
• Assist with internal communications through newsletters, announcements, and updates.
• Support marketing campaigns with media content creation.
• Monitor and report on digital engagement metrics.
• Ensure brand consistency across all media channels.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work with other departments to support IT and media needs.
• Provide training to staff on IT tools and media best practices.
• Stay updated on new technologies, digital trends, and cybersecurity threats.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 5 years experience.
