Investment Relations Associate at Volition Capital

Role in Brief 

Opportunik Global Fund seeks an Investment Relations Associate with direct responsibility for its clients - individuals and organizations. This individual will onboard clients, deliver information, respond to inquiries, and prepare relevant correspondences & reports.

The Investment Relations Associate, though not primarily tasked with sales, must be able to close new clients and upsell products to existing ones.

Mode of Engagement

• Full-time with a probation period of 6 months.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute investor relations strategies to attract and onboard new investors.
• Document and follow up on investor profile update requests.
• Send quarterly portfolio updates to clients.
• Send quarterly updates to venture debt investors.
• Handle all email, phone, and chat correspondences.
• Carry out bi-weekly experience checks on the website’s user dashboard.
• Conduct quarterly investor surveys.
• Carry out any other assigned investor-enriching task.

Requirements 

• A minimum of 3 years experience in the finance industry or related service industry
• Proven experience in a start-up company and comfort with ambiguity and the necessity for speed.
• Extreme attention to detail and schedules. 
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills. 
• Aptitude for decision-making and problem-solving. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google Sheets, and other relevant software.
