Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Audit & Control Officer to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating internal processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and recommending improvements to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic internal audits across departments to assess compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Identify risks, weaknesses, and gaps in internal controls, and recommend effective solutions.
• Review financial and operational records for accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare and present clear audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure continuous improvement.
• Support management in developing and maintaining a robust internal control framework.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in internal audit and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIA) is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
