The HR Manager will lead all core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation, and HR policy development.
The role requires a hands-on HR professional who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a dynamic startup setting.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
Lead end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition processes
Manage employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture
Oversee performance management systems and employee development initiatives
Design and manage compensation and benefits structures
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and internal policies
Support leadership with workforce planning and organizational development
Requirements
BSc / HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s is an advantage)
5 – 8 years HR experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of recruitment, HR operations, and employee relations
Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is an advantage
Solid understanding of Nigerian labour law and HR compliance
Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment is essential
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
