HR Specialist (Home Appliances Industry) at Transsion Holdings

Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to support all core HR functions within our Home Appliance business.
• The ideal candidate must have prior HR experience in the home appliance or consumer electronics industry, with hands-on experience supporting brands such as TCL, Hisense, Midea, Haier, LG, Samsung, or similar.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labour regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for sales, retail, service engineers, warehouse, and office staff.
• Coordinate onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exit processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Handle employee relations issues, disciplinary matters, and grievance resolution.
• Monitor attendance, leave, and other HR administrative processes.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain HR metrics.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal HR policies.
• Support employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
• Partner with department managers to address manpower and organizational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within the home appliance or consumer electronics industry.
• Experience working with brands such as TCL, Hisense, Midea, Haier, LG, Samsung, or similar is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Professional HR certification (CIPM, PHRi, SHRM, CIPD, etc.) is an added advantage.

• Experience supporting retail and field sales teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
