    Accountant (Pharmacy)

    Summary

    • The Pharmacy Accountant is responsible for managing the financial records and accounting activities of the pharmacy.
    • This role ensures accurate financial reporting, monitors cash flow, oversees inventory-related accounting, ensures compliance with financial regulations, and supports management with financial insights for informed decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure timely month-end and year-end reporting.
    • Monitor daily financial transactions, including sales reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
    • Manage inventory-related accounting by reconciling stock movements, purchases, and cost of goods sold.
    • Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory tax requirements, financial policies, and internal controls while supporting audit processes.

    Requirements
