    Hotel Human Resources Manager

    Job Summary

    • A Hotel HR Manager ensures the right people are hired, trained, motivated, and retained to deliver excellent hospitality services while maintaining a compliant, safe, and positive workplace.

    Responsibilities
    Recruitment & Staffing:

    • Develops job descriptions and posts vacancies.
    • Screens, interviews, and selects suitable candidates.
    • Ensures proper staffing levels to meet operational needs.
    • Oversees onboarding and induction of new employees.

    Training & Development:

    • Organizes staff training on hospitality standards, customer service, and safety.
    • Implements career development programs.
    • Ensures continuous learning and upskilling for employees.

    Employee Relations:

    • Acts as a link between management and staff.
    • Addresses employee grievances, complaints, and conflicts.
    • Promotes teamwork, motivation, and a positive workplace culture.
    • Ensures compliance with labor laws and hotel policies.

    Performance Management:

    • Conducts employee performance appraisals.
    • Sets KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for staff.
    • Recognizes and rewards outstanding performance.
    • Identifies underperformance and provides coaching or corrective measures.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Administers payroll, allowances, and staff incentives.
    • Manages staff welfare programs, healthcare, and insurance.
    • Designs competitive compensation packages to attract and retain talent.

    Policy & Compliance:

    • Develops HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
    • Ensures hotel complies with labor regulations, safety, and ethical standards.
    • Oversees disciplinary actions fairly and professionally.

    Health, Safety & Well-being:

    • Implements workplace safety standards.
    • Oversees health and wellness programs.
    • Ensures safe working conditions for all staff.

    Strategic HR Management:

    • Plans workforce requirements in line with hotel expansion or peak seasons.
    • Works with management to align HR strategies with business goals.
    • Supports organizational change, restructuring, and succession planning.

    Requirements
