Africa of Our Dream Initiative (AODI) was founded by David Chukwuma Izuogu as an expansion of his charity academy, Chucks Academy at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The Academy which was founded in September 2008 focused on helping undergraduate science students at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka on chemistry-related courses by organising well-attended tutorial classes especially for the first-year students.

This is a volunteer remote role for a Grant Writer at AODI.
The Grant Writer will be responsible for grant administration, proposal writing, prospect research, grant writing, and fundraising activities to support the organization's mission of empowering youth and women through education and capacity building.
Qualifications
Grant Administration and Grant Writing skills
Proposal Writing and Fundraising experience
Proficiency in conducting Prospect Research
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Passion for youth and women empowerment initiatives
Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Non-profit Management, or related field
