    General Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operational Leadership:

    • Oversee day-to-day hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and security.
    • Ensure adherence to hotel brand standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Maintain high-quality service standards and exceptional guest satisfaction.

    Strategic Management:

    • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue targets, customer satisfaction goals, and operational efficiency.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor performance to position IVY Hotel competitively.

    Financial Oversight:

    • Prepare and manage the hotel budget, forecast revenue, and control operational costs.
    • Analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure profitability.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.

    Team Development:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise department heads and key staff.
    • Foster a positive work environment, promote staff engagement, and enforce performance management.
    • Implement staff development and succession planning initiatives.

    Customer Experience:

    • Ensure consistently high levels of guest satisfaction through effective service delivery and problem resolution.
    • Maintain effective guest feedback channels and drive continuous improvement.

    Sales and Marketing Support:

    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to increase hotel visibility and boost bookings.
    • Represent the hotel at official functions, events, and networking opportunities.

    Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, legal, and licensing requirements.
    • Implement and monitor all security, risk management, and emergency response plans.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or equivalent is an advantage).
    • Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience as a General Manager in a reputable international hotel chain.
    • Strong financial acumen and business development mindset.
    • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • Solid knowledge of hotel management software.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and guest service orientation.
