As a Finance Trainee at Geoplex Drillteq Limited, you will support the finance team in performing key financial operations including budgeting, reporting, and account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial reports, statements, and supporting documents.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Help monitor budget execution and variance analysis.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and financial data.
Assist in account reconciliation and ledger reviews.
Collaborate with internal departments on finance-related matters.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed by the finance team
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
ICAN Certification
0 - 2 years of relevant experience.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Eagerness to learn and grow in a structured finance environment
