    Finance Manager

    Location: Agbara/Igbesa, Ogun State.

    Job Summary

    The Finance Manager oversees the financial health of the organization by managing accounting and financial operations, developing financial strategies, and providing leadership to the finance team. The role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.

    Functions and Responsibilities

    • Oversee the general accounting function, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, balance sheet management, and customer rebate management.
    • Review monthly payroll.
    • Close monitoring of production and operation costs.
    • Ensure that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company\'s assets are protected.
    • Supervise the completion of federal and state tax reporting requirements.
    • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information/performance.
    • Ensure the monthly bank reconciliation is performed in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Control and forecast income and expenditure
    • Respond to enquiries from management regarding financial results, special reporting requests, and the like.
    • Ensure a clean and timely year end audit.
    • Report on the critical performance ratio of the Company
    • Assist in budget preparation and enforcing compliance
    • Prepare a weekly, monthly, or quarterly report.
    • Protect an organisation’s value by keeping information confidential
    • Supervise all activities of the department.
    • Perform other tasks as may be required.

    Qualifications and Requirement

    • BSC / HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
    • Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive financial management experience, including leadership roles.
    • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
    • Knowledge of account payables, receivables, accounting procedures and accounting software
    • Creative, self-motivated and passionate for the work
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Good numerical skills
    • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
    • Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
    • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
    • Must be computer literate
    • Proficient in data entry

    Salary : 400,000 - 600,000 monthly
