The opportunity
The Finance Coordinator – Accounting & Taxes will ensure financial accountability for the Country office operations and other locations according to Plan and donor requirements. Provides timely and accurate accounting information on grants & track Flex funds postings. The position holder acts as finance focal person for all accounting and tax related issues as it relates to grants and flex fund management.
About You
We are looking for applicant with Master’s degree in Accounting or its equivalent and must possess recognised professional Accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA. The candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role with 3 years or more in general ledger accounting. S/he should be knowledgeable in the use of accounting software, preferably SAP as well as demonstrate a good knowledge of Nigeria tax regulations in addition to experience in training others on financial systems.
