Expression of Interest (EOI) at Greater Impact Initiative for Child Support (GIMPACS)

Greater Impact Initiative for Child Support (GIMPACS) is a youth-driven and women-led non-governmental organization established in 2023 and officially incorporated in 2024. The organization is dedicated to improving access to healthcare and hygiene services for underprivileged children, women, and persons with disabilities.

GIMPACS envisions an African society where every woman, child, and person with disabilities enjoys quality healthcare, supported by inclusive systems that promote hygiene, nutrition, and overall well-being. Its mission is to provide equitable and inclusive healthcare solutions that enhance hygiene, nutrition, and quality of life for women, children, and individuals with disabilities—paving the way for a healthier and more sustainable future.

Built on the principles of accountability, equity, empowerment, integrity, inclusivity, and teamwork, GIMPACS tackles the social and health challenges affecting women, children, and persons with disabilities in vulnerable situations. The organization is guided by a multidisciplinary team of professionals with expertise in health, nutrition, protection, education, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene).

GIMPACS provides support purely based on humanitarian need, without discrimination on the grounds of religion, race, gender, or political affiliation. All organizational decisions are guided by compassion and the needs of affected population not political or economic interests. The organization delivers emergency relief before, during, and after crises, while also offering technical assistance and training to government agencies and community groups to strengthen their capacity for effective service delivery.

Founded to close the healthcare gap across Africa, GIMPACS is committed to bringing essential medical services directly to rural communities. Through a strong referral system, the organization strives to connect primary healthcare delivery with tertiary healthcare institutions, ensuring that every individual—regardless of status—has access to timely, quality care.

•  TAG 9: Supply of Food items.
