    E-Commerce Account Manager

    In this role, you have the opportunity to

    Join leading business group in Philips Domestic Appliance who aim to turn houses into homes and enable healthier and happier lives at home through innovation while advancing your career in a dynamic, fast pace and innovative company.

    You are responsible for

    • Tracking of the commercial performance of client’s accounts, including invoicing, team efficiency and customer satisfaction;

    • Exploring and utilizing insights from the customer Supply Chains to highlight opportunities, risks, and demands;

    • Liaising with trade and optimization teams to share knowledge and strategy;

    • Forecasting and tracking of KPI’s, i.e., expected revenue, resource requirements, annual forecasts;

    • Actively working on the promotion and sales of new products/concepts;

    • Keeping abreast on market conditions to price and service the client’s products competitively;

    • Networking with clients to develop strong revenue streams and new contacts to be utilized across the company;

    • Managing client expectations, ensuring that customer service is at the forefront of all activities;

    • Continuously evaluating how new packaging solutions perform and ensuring that they meet the requirements and demands;

    You are a part of

    The DA Africa Sales Organization, which forms part of the META (Middle East Turkey and Africa). You will report to E-Commerce Africa Lead, which is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

    To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

    • Proven and successful previous experience as an Account Manager (or equivalent);

    • Strong online/digital experience – understanding of and previous experience in E-Commerce and Digital Marketing;

    • Brilliant communication skills, feeling comfortable speaking to organizational levels from procurement teams to CEO’s;

    • Strong commercial awareness;

    • Technological proficiencies across languages such as HTML, JavaScript, Flash, DevOps and Agile;

    • Highly experienced commercial negotiation professional;

    • Ability to travel frequently to customer base – SA/ROA;

    • Team Player, Driven, Motivated, Entrepreneurial with able to work independently
