    Business Development Lead

    Role Summary

    • We are seeking a Business Development Lead to drive partnerships, institutional engagements, and revenue growth for Peace Shapers.

This role is not about cold selling. It is about:

    • opening doors,
    • positioning Peace Shapers as a trusted authority,
    • translating our work into clear value for school leaders, and
    • converting interest into structured engagements.

    Key Responsibilities

    Institutional Partnerships

    • Identify and engage private schools, school groups, NGOs, faith-based institutions, and education networks.
    • Build relationships with school proprietors, principals, and administrators.
    • Follow up on proposals, letters, and presentations professionally.

    Sales & Revenue Growth

    • Convert enquiries into paid programmes and consulting engagements.
    • Clearly communicate Peace Shapers’ packages (Entry, Deepening, Transformation).
    • Support pricing conversations and scope engagements appropriately.

    Strategy & Market Insight

    • Provide feedback on market resistance, objections, and decision dynamics.
    • Help refine offers based on what schools actually respond to.
    • Track leads, conversions, and pipeline status.

    Collaboration

    • Work closely with the Executive Director on positioning, proposals, and strategy.
    • Occasionally support content ideas that build authority and trust.

    Who This Role Is For

    • Someone who understands schools as institutions, not just customers.
    • Comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers.
    • Patient, strategic, and relationship-oriented.
    • Able to sell systems and long-term value, not quick fixes.

    Preferred Background

    • Business development, partnerships, sales, consulting, or institutional relations.
    • Experience in education, NGOs, social enterprises, or professional services is a plus.
    • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
