    Business Development Executive – Oil & Gas

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking a Business Development Executive with 5–7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specializing in bids, tenders, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate must have a strong network of industry contacts, a proven track record of winning contracts, and the ability to drive business growth. This role requires expertise in tendering, contract negotiations, and relationship management to secure profitable projects.

    Job Description:

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
    • Leverage existing industry contacts and networks to generate leads and secure high-value contracts.
    • Lead and manage the end-to-end bid and tendering process, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions.
    • Develop and submit winning proposals, pre-qualification documents, and RFP/RFQ responses.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, NCDMB, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders.
    • Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and risk assessments to support business expansion.
    • Drive revenue growth by closing deals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring successful project execution.
    • Ensure compliance with NOGICD Act 2010, local content requirements, and industry regulations.
    • Monitor sales performance, bid success rates, and business development KPIs to achieve financial targets.
    • Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry forums to expand market presence.

    Academic Qualification:

    • University degree/Higher National Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

    Work Experience:

    • 5–7 years of experience in business development, bids, and tenders within the oil and gas industry.
    • Established network of industry contacts and proven ability to generate revenue.
    • Demonstrated success in winning contracts, securing tenders, and driving business growth.

    Technical/Leadership Skills:

    • Expertise in tender preparation, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.
    • Strong understanding of oil and gas business dynamics, pricing models, and market trends.
    • Experience in financial analysis, cost estimation, and commercial strategy development.
    • Ability to develop and execute business growth strategies focused on revenue generation.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, tender portals, and sales tracking tools.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills to close high-value deals.

    Key Skills:

    • Strong sales, negotiation, and deal-closing abilities.
    • Excellent relationship management and networking skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
    • Strategic planning and market intelligence expertise.
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    • Secure high-value contracts and drive revenue growth.
    • Leverage industry contacts to expand the company’s market presence and influence.
    • Manage and execute bid and tender submissions with high success rates.
    • Develop and implement business strategies to attract and retain key clients.
    • Monitor financial performance, ensuring revenue targets are met.
