This is not a general sales role. It is a serious capital mobilisation, investor origination, relationship management and deal-development role for a candidate with proven experience, strong commercial discipline and measurable track record.
NCDF Group is presenting a sequenced capital formation platform across four investment routes, including:
- Sponsor-level strengthening
- Financial inclusion platform capitalisation
- Domestic infrastructure fund formation
- Diaspora private-fund mobilisation
The current capital formation programme covers ₦31 billion+ and £10 million across structured investment opportunities, private placements, fund vehicles and strategic investor channels.
The successful candidate will support senior leadership in identifying, engaging and converting serious investors, strategic partners, HNWIs, family offices, cooperatives, diaspora investors, institutional investors, development partners and capital market stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Executive – Capital Raising will be responsible for:
- Originating and managing investor leads across Nigeria, the UK, diaspora markets and institutional networks.
- Supporting investor engagement for NCDF Group’s private placements, investment funds and platform capitalisation opportunities.
- Building qualified investor pipelines across HNWIs, family offices, cooperatives, diaspora networks, DFIs, funds, corporate investors and strategic partners.
- Preparing investor engagement briefs, follow-up notes, meeting summaries, opportunity trackers and conversion reports.
- Coordinating investor meetings, roadshow activities, presentations and relationship follow-up.
- Working with the leadership team to communicate the NCDF Group investment thesis with clarity, discipline and institutional credibility.
- Supporting capital formation campaigns for NCDF Holdings Limited, Konto Financial Group Plc, NCDF infrastructure vehicles and diaspora-focused private investment routes.
- Maintaining a disciplined CRM-style pipeline of prospects, engagement status, next steps, documentation needs and expected conversion timeline.
- Supporting partnership conversations with professional networks, financial intermediaries, diaspora organisations, cooperative societies and investment communities.
- Contributing to investor communications, pitch preparation, market intelligence and capital-raising strategy.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a serious, mature and commercially credible candidate with:
- Proven experience in capital raising, business development, investor relations, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management, securities, financial services, wealth management, development finance or institutional partnerships.
- A demonstrable track record of originating investor relationships or supporting capital mobilisation.
- Strong understanding of private placements, investment funds, infrastructure finance, financial inclusion, diaspora investment or capital market transactions.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior executives, investors, HNWIs, family offices, financial institutions and strategic partners.
- Excellent writing, presentation, follow-up and relationship management skills.
- Strong discipline in documentation, investor tracking, pipeline reporting and transaction follow-through.
- Ability to work with confidential investment information and maintain professional discretion.
- High integrity, commercial maturity and strong personal accountability.
