    Information Technology & Digital Partnerships Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a highly driven, innovative, and commercially minded Information Technology & Digital Partnerships Supervisor to lead technology-enabled business growth initiatives and strategic partnerships that expand the company's microinsurance footprint.
    • The successful candidate will bridge technology, business development, and digital transformation by leveraging innovative digital solutions to drive sales, improve customer acquisition, enhance operational efficiency, and establish strategic partnerships with organizations requiring affordable microinsurance solutions for their employees, customers, or members.
    • This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, relationship management, and strong commercial acumen to develop technology-driven insurance distribution channels, increase market penetration, and support the organization's digital growth agenda.

    Key Responsibilities
    Technology & Digital Transformation:

    • Develop and implement technology-driven initiatives that improve business performance and customer experience.
    • Identify and deploy digital solutions that increase operational efficiency and support business growth.
    • Manage and optimize digital platforms used for policy enrollment, premium collection, claims processing, and customer engagement.
    • Work closely with software vendors and internal teams to enhance existing digital systems and introduce innovative technology solutions.
    • Support the integration of insurance platforms with fintechs, payment gateways, APIs, HR systems, and third-party applications.
    • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend digital innovations that strengthen the company's competitive advantage.

    Digital Sales & Revenue Growth:

    • Drive sales growth by leveraging digital channels, technology platforms, and data-driven marketing initiatives.
    • Develop innovative digital distribution strategies that increase policy subscriptions and customer acquisition.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to execute technology-enabled campaigns that generate qualified leads and improve conversion rates.
    • Utilize CRM systems, analytics tools, and digital reporting dashboards to monitor sales performance and optimize business outcomes.
    • Identify opportunities to automate customer acquisition and retention processes using technology.

    Strategic Partnerships & Business Development:

    • Identify, develop, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with organizations requiring microinsurance solutions for their employees, customers, or members.
    • Build relationships with: Corporate organizations, SMEs, Cooperatives, Trade associations, Religious organizations, Professional bodies, Educational institutions, NGOs, Fintech companies, Digital platforms, E-commerce companies, Mobile network operators, Microfinance institutions, Employer groups and Community-based organizations.
    • Develop customized group microinsurance solutions tailored to partner needs.
    • Lead partnership negotiations, contract discussions, onboarding, implementation, and relationship management.
    • Identify new revenue opportunities through digital partnerships and embedded insurance models.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of partnership agreements.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Growth in digital insurance sales.
    • Number of new strategic partnerships secured.
    • Revenue generated from partnership channels.
    • Number of employees, members, or customers onboarded through partner organizations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or any related discipline.
    • A Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
    • Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, Digital Marketing, Google Analytics, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, or related certifications will be an added advantage.
    • 5–7 years' progressive experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Business Development, Sales, Strategic Partnerships, or related functions.
    • Experience within the Insurance, Microinsurance, Financial Services, Fintech, or Microfinance industry is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated success in driving business growth through digital initiatives and strategic partnerships.
