Role Overview
We seek a proactive Business Development and Administrative Intern to drive growth, manage operations, and amplify our social impact. You’ll balance strategic business tasks with hands-on administrative duties while gaining real-world experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities (e.g., partnerships, grants).
- Track and evaluate the success of new initiatives.
- Earn 5 - 7.5% commission on grants/donations secured for humanitarian projects.
- Administrative Management:
- Act as caretaker for FNL properties: track rent payments, issue receipts, and liaise with tenants.
- Support legal processes by coordinating with the company lawyer and contractors.
- Social Media & Brand Growth:
- Grow FNL’s LinkedIn presence: post engaging content about our humanitarian work and interact with relevant stakeholders.
- Highlight student success stories and partnerships.
Requirements
- Must be a student or NYSC Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related fields
- Reside in Osogbo (preferred) or Ede.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets), LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work without supervision
- Willingness to travel within Osun State (travel allowance provided for trips outside Osogbo/Ede).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Allowance: ₦20,000/month (transport and internet).
- Performance Bonuses: 30–50% of monthly allowance based on performance or business growth.
- Humanitarian Incentive: 5 - 7.5% commission on grants/donations secured.
- Hybrid Flexibility: Work remotely for 70% of the time and on-site for 30%.
- Growth Opportunity: Potential retention post-internship based on performance. Recommendation letter.
Duration & Work Mode
- 6–9 months (aligned with your academic program).
- Hybrid role; must be available for occasional travel within Osun State.
