    B2B Sales & Trade Marketing Executive (Food, Retail & Hospitality)

    Role Summary

    This is a field-based B2B sales role focused on growing Wangaraufoods’ presence in:

    • Supermarkets
    • Hotels & restaurants
    • Event planners & caterers
    • Retail stores
    • Corporate procurement & gift buyers
    • You will be responsible for opening new accounts, securing product listings, closing bulk orders, and growing repeat business.

    Key Responsibilities

    B2B & Trade Sales

    • Visit supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, caterers, event planners, and corporate offices to pitch Wangaraufoods products
    • Secure product listings, bulk supply orders, and long-term supply contracts
    • Identify and onboard new distributors and resellers
    • Negotiate pricing, margins, and order volumes

    Account Management

    • Maintain strong relationships with existing B2B customers
    • Ensure regular re-orders and stock replenishment
    • Upsell higher volumes, bundles, and premium product lines
    • Resolve delivery, quality, or service issues quickly

    Trade Marketing

    • Support in-store promotions, product displays, and sampling
    • Monitor competitor products, pricing, and shelf positioning
    • Gather market feedback to improve product placement and sales

    Reporting

    • Submit weekly sales pipeline and revenue reports
    • Track leads, accounts, and closed deals

    Requirements

    You must:

    • Have 2–5 years experience in B2B sales, FMCG, food, hospitality, or retail sales
    • Be comfortable with field sales and physical client visits
    • Have strong negotiation, follow-up, and closing skills
    • Have existing or past relationships with supermarkets, hotels, caterers, event planners, or corporate buyers
    • Experience selling food, beverages, or consumer goods is a major advantage.

    Compensation

    • Base salary
    • Commission on every order closed
    • Performance bonuses
    • Field allowances
    • High performers earn significantly above base pay.
