Role Overview

A leading transport and haulage company is looking to engage a dependable Diesel Attendant responsible for the efficient dispensing and monitoring of diesel for company vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining accurate fuel records while ensuring compliance with operational standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Dispense diesel to trucks and machinery in line with approved schedules.
• Keep accurate records of fuel issued, including vehicle numbers, driver details, and mileage readings.
• Track and analyze fuel usage to detect inconsistencies or abnormal consumption.
• Ensure safe storage and proper handling of diesel to avoid waste, theft, or contamination.
• Maintain up-to-date fuel logs and submit periodic reports to relevant departments.
• Coordinate with drivers and fleet personnel to ensure seamless fueling operations.
• Enforce adherence to company fuel policies and escalate any misuse or irregularities.
• Participate in routine stock checks and assist in fuel inventory reconciliation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of OND in any field
• Strong attention to detail with good record-keeping ability
• Honest, responsible, and highly dependable
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Basic understanding of diesel handling and safety practices
• Proficiency in basic computer use
