Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager – Retail Insurance, located in Port Harcourt.
• The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations, develop and implement sales strategies, and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Key responsibilities include managing a team of sales representatives, coaching them to achieve optimal performance, identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• The role also involves analyzing market trends and providing regular reports to management on sales performance and market insights.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Sales and Business Development, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Experience in Team Leadership and Management, including coaching and guiding team members
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention
• Analytical skills for Market Research and Sales Reporting
• Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
• Familiarity with the retail insurance industry and its regulations is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
