Analyst, Corporate Finance at AFEX

Job Summary

• Corporate Finance plays a crucial role in managing the financial activities of the Group; ensuring its long-term sustainability and growth. The team is fast paced with responsibilities across group treasury, budgeting, financial planning and strategy, capital structure management, investor relations and, financial advisory.

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

• Build and own financial models – including three statement model, valuation and scenario analysis.
• Work with internal teams, Legal, Operations, Risk and Finance to compile and maintain electronic data rooms.
• Compile, analyze, and maintain detailed operations and financial performance data across teams and subsidiaries.
• Assist with preparation of documents, reports and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and other relevant analytics software.
• Assist in the creation and review of regular and ad-hoc materials for executive committee, management and Board of Directors. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or at least 1-5 years experience in a finance related role.
• Strong preference will be given to candidates who have completed a recognized finance or valuation designation or advanced degree.
• Analytical and quantitative skills, coupled with good judgment and qualitative insight.
• Familiarity with basic financial calculations, as well as a working understanding of financial statements, analysis and visualization of data is a plus.
