Create/update all salary breakdowns for in-house and outsourced staff
Set up a cost analysis for every contract (i.e. charity, expense, rent, salary, tax, and investments)
Keep track of recruiting metrics (cost per hire, time to fill, etc.)
Follow up on Withholding tax credits for local and 1099 tax forms where applicable for International clients and ensure contract terms and payments are up to date
Prepare Taxes both locally and in the US for a Tax accountant
Ensure proper registrations and licenses are maintained
Create simplistic accounting flows and maintain expenses
Maintain a General ledger accounting Register
Prepare and plan our accounting Year To Date for funding (VC etc.) possibilities
Collate & Implement monthly, quarterly, and yearly re-occurring/one-off expenses for the business.
Set up pension, payee, etc., and optimise tax benefits in salary breakdown
Reconcile past and new clients and share those who are profitable
Assist with recruitment activities.
Proficiency
B.Sc in Accounting discipline or related field
3 - 5 years of Accounting experience
Knowledge of accounting best practices
ICAN, ACA is a plus
Experience with accounting software (preferably SAGE) and data entry
Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the generally accepted accounting principles
Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets.
