    A leading healthcare management consultancy company in Nigeria with subsidiaries in different states and headquartered in Lagos state, is recruiting competent and dynamic individuals for the post of a Accounts Manager.

    Job Location:

    Anthony, Lagos

    Job Description

    Reports to:  Managing Director

    • Formulate and implement, and monitor Financial and Fiscal Policies and Procedures for the Company.
    • Develop and Maintain systems of Internal Controls to safeguard Financial Assets of the Company.
    • Carry out various technical and financial analysis for financial monitoring.
    • Advise the Management of financial matters
    • Monitor all Banking activities of the Company.
    • Asses the benefits of all prospective contracts and advise accordingly.
    • Oversee the management and coordination of all Fiscal reporting activities of the company.
    • Coordinate, Supervise, and organize the activities of all staff in the Finance department.
    • Monitor the deduction and remittances of all taxes and the other statutory deductions
    • Payable to the various Tax Authorities and other government collection agencies.
    • Preparation of Company’s Cost and Financial Budget
    • Monitor Reconciliation of Bank Accounts
    • Establish and maintain cash controls
    • Monitor cash reserves and investments
    • Prepare monthly financial statements
    • Prepare quarterly reports and report on variances
    • Assist with the annual financial and tax audit
    • Manage the Company’s Tax deductions and Filing.
    • Maintain the computerized accounting system
    • Maintain financial files and records
    • Processes supplier invoices
    • Maintain the purchase order system
    • Check financial terms of contracts.
    • Establish, maintain and reconcile the general ledger
    • Prepare quarterly reports and report on variances
    • Propose internal control measures against fraudulent activity
    • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
    • Conduct quarterly general audit of the store, equipment and inventory items
    • Track payments to internal and external stakeholders

    Requisite Skills/Experience

    • Financial Accounting skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft office suite (particularly excel) or related software
    • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

    Applicants should be resident in Lagos

    Educational Qualification

    • BSc/HND in Accounting
    • Hands-on experience on the job or a similar job role is required
