About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially sharp Strategic Business & Investment Analyst to support the Group Managing Director and Business Unit Heads in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting rigorous financial analysis, and driving capital allocation decisions across the Group.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all major initiatives are financially sound, strategically aligned, and capable of delivering long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities
Investment & Financial Analysis
- Build detailed 3–10 year financial models
- Conduct ROI, IRR, NPV, payback & sensitivity analyses
- Evaluate capital expenditure proposals (CAPEX reviews)
- Stress-test assumptions and revenue projections
- Assess risk exposure and downside scenarios
- Compare investment options and recommend optimal strategies
Deliverables:
- Investment memos
- Board-ready financial models
- Scenario analysis reports
- Capital allocation recommendations
Feasibility Studies & Business Case Development
- Lead market, operational, and financial feasibility studies
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and pricing analysis
- Perform demand estimation and scalability assessments
- Develop structured business plans for new ventures
- Identify regulatory, operational, and execution risks
Deliverables:
- Comprehensive feasibility reports
- Business case decks for Board approval
- Executive summary investment briefs
Strategic Research & Opportunity Identification
- Identify high-potential sectors and growth opportunities
- Conduct industry and macroeconomic research
- Analyze consumer behavior and market trends
- Support diversification and portfolio expansion strategy
- Evaluate partnerships and JV opportunities

Performance & Capital Efficiency Tracking
- Track ROI of completed investments

Executive Decision Support
- Prepare board-level materials
- Develop structured recommendation frameworks
- Translate complex analysis into clear executive insights
- Support negotiations with investors and partners
- Attend strategic meetings and provide analytical backing
Requirements
Education & Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field
- MBA Finance or Strategy specialization is desired not mandatory
- ACA, ACCA, CFA (Level 1+), or equivalent certification is desired not mandatory
- 4 - 8 years ideally in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Private Equity / Venture Capital, Corporate Strategy, Big 4 Transaction Advisory, FP&A
- Advanced financial modeling experience
- Experience building feasibility studies
- Multi-business portfolio analysis
- Exposure to capital-intensive projects preferred
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel (expert-level financial modeling)
- Strong PowerPoint (board-ready presentations)
- Financial statement analysis
- Business valuation techniques
- Scenario and sensitivity modeling
- Market research frameworks (Porter, SWOT, TAM/SAM/SOM)
