Seeking a dynamic furniture draughtsman to join a team of professionals in their rapidly expanding Design Division. The purpose of this role is to create detailed design drawings for different chairs units and related products primarily using AutoCAD 3D. This will require the application of draughting techniques, procedures, criteria and standards to ensure requirements are effectively translated into production/ operational needs.
Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, this candidate will work within a small team and provide a drawing service creating General arrangement drawings, detail drawings and material lists of furniture structures, foundations and mechanical assemblies. He will have the ability to work independently and quickly to predetermined timescales and to follow the company codes of practice.
This position offers the scope for creativity and diversity within the large and varied range of products that company produce.
