    Recruitment Manager

    Purpose
    To lead Nigerdock's workforce planning and recruitment operations, and managing internal and external talent suppliers. The position works closely with Project Controls developing and reporting on human capital analytics, contributing to the Strategic Workforce Planning process. The position leads the Nigerdock HR workforce planning processes, cycles and analytics and developing reports and presentations as required.

    Key Aims

    •     Workforce Planning
    •     Develop, analyze and report on Human Capital metrics and analytics through Workforce Planning reports, dashboards and benchmarking initiatives;
    •     Contribute to the Strategic Workforce Planning process by providing expertise in the areas of data analysis and forecasting and participating in the development of strategies to address future workforce needs;
    •     Contribute to large workforce planning projects and initiatives;
    •     Ongoing research of tools, technologies and advancements in human capital analytics and reporting;
    •     Supporting the implementation and sustainment of the Workforce Planning process by consolidating and analyzing workforce data and training relevant stakeholders;
    •     Maintaining and continuously improving the process to cluster jobs in a meaningful way to support strategic insights and execution;
    •     Gathering labour market and industry intelligence and conduction analysis;
    •     Developing and sustaining databases using Excel;
    •     Ensuring adherence to governance processes as it relates to data management;
    •     Conducting talent supply and demand analysis, identifying gaps and partnering to propose recommended solutions;
    •     Working from Primavera and Orion to extract and organize data in a coherent way;
    •     Assisting with various ad hoc projects and processes that involve data consolidation, analysis and simplification;

    Recruitment

    •     Establishes local recruiting requirements by aiding the HRBP in the creation of organization workforce plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs;
    •     Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications;
    •     Attracts applicants through the Group Careers website, liasing with Group Global Recruiters, and other cost efficient methods;
    •     Provids first line of support to Hiring Managers for the Applicant Hiring System;
    •     Updates the ATS as and when required;
    •     Draws from the ATS to create operational metrics measuring the effectiveness of the department across all functions;
    •     Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks;
    •     Ensure best recruitment practices are applied through the use of required tools (behavioral interviewing) and psychometric testing;
    •     Ensures complete references are taken on every candidate;
    •     Explores the market best practices for local recruitment and staffing and implements appropriate best practices in the organization;
    •     Monitors and constantly reduces the costs of the recruitment process;
    •     Conducts job interviews for the managerial job positions (or key jobs in the organization).
    •     Attend vendor training updates;
    •     Provide updates and training to Hiring Managers about new system or process upgrades.

    Reporting Requirements

    •     Weekly hiring status reports to the MD and Nigerdock HRD
    •     Monthly reports on KPI's (NCD Hiring Effectiveness, Time to Hire, Cost of Hire, Source effectiveness, offer acceptance/rejection rates and reasons, etc.)
    •     Manpower forecasts, general and by project

    Job Requirements

    •     8 - 10 years experience across workforce optimization and recruitment;
    •     Previous experience of analyzing and forecasting in Oil and Gas / Petrochemical / Construction;
    •     Working knowledge of Primavera and Onion is preferred (or other forecasting tools);
    •     Previous experience of managing the full end to end recruitment process;
    •     Previous experience with implementation and optimization of an Applicant Tracking System;
    •     Previous experience with the management of budgets;
    •     Strong financial acumen;
    •     Understanding of the recruitment market place including advertising media, recruitment consultancies and direct recruitment;
    •     Strong administration and time management skills;
    •     Proven experience in negotiation with external providers and candidates;
    •     Confident and professional communicator with staff at all levels;
    •     Understanding of employment law and how it relates to recruitment;
    •     Strong stakeholder and candidate management experience;
    •     Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines;
    •     A Bachelor's Degree in Business / IT/ Metrics / HR Administration.
