Accountant at Finova

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial decision-making through accurate and timely accounting information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Track expenses and ensure proper documentation
• Record daily financial transactions 
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring
• Support audits by providing required documents and explanations
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations
• Must be able to work with Accounting Software such as Quickbooks, Excel, Sage
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations
• Process invoices and payments
• Maintain organized financial filing systems

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, SAP, or Excel)
