The Country Manager position is an opportunity to join a fast-growing start-up with the potential for promotion to a regional management role based on performance.
Our new cohort of Country Managers will spearhead CoffeeChat’s efforts in building brand awareness and growing our pool of freelance coaches, experts and speakers in their local country markets.
The role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities as the sole representative of the company in Nigeria, including the need to engage a variety of potential freelancers as well as young professionals, entrepreneurs and enterprises seeking their services on our platform.
These efforts will be supported by the founders and technical development team based remotely across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Build the CoffeeChat Brand in Nigeria (and surrounding region)
Attend conferences and events in an official capacity.
Conduct localized network outreach.
Organize awareness initiatives.
Drive User Growth of the CoffeeChat Platform
Attract initial 250+ coaches and experts in your country.
Support freelancers on our platform secure and grow their client base.
Identify and sign up enterprise clients to use CoffeeChat as their freelance consultant recruitment portal.
Monitor engagement metrics to ensure high levels of satisfaction amongst users from your market.
Collaborate with Pan-African Team and Report Directly to CEO
Weekly calls with geographically-distributed leadership team spread across Africa.
Submit weekly KPIs and activity report.
Share feedback from your local market on how to improve platform design and features to better suit user needs.
Support with online customer engagement when needed.
Requirements
Sales & Marketing Guru: Proven track record in professional networking, online customer service, public speaking, and business development in your country market.
Start-Up Mindset: Previous experience working in early-stage start-up environment strongly preferred, and willingness to work with limited resources to achieve high business growth.
Academic Background: At least a Bachelor's from a reputable university in a relevant field such as Business, Human Resources or Education.
