Job Description

• Develop and execute database queries, views and stored procedures to build reports to monitor
• performance against our growth KPIs
• Analyze, interpret and report on trends within the base using relevant visualizations and reports to drive insights and actions
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms
•  Serve as a data steward for all business intelligence data – availability and ease of use/interpretation
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate data sources for optimal business insights
• Support the business in understanding and utilizing business intelligence information in order to make informed decisions using interactive dashboards
• Demonstrate a broad understanding of best practices for data and analytics, business intelligence and technologies to support business intelligence practice
• Participate in designing and implementation of BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses
• Participate in the requirements gathering and rolling out of BI solutions to end users and continually strive for a unified single version of truth across all business intelligence data used for business decision making
• Ensure availability and integrity of customer data (usage, behavior, revenue, etc. by channel and customer type), solve intelligence and information problems and provide insight from incomplete information.
• Provide business hands-on training and first level application support on business intelligence tools

Job Requirement

•  Have a BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; and completed NYSC (for Nigerians)
• Have proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with relational database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Postgres)
• Proficient with BI tools and technologies (e.g. Apache Superset, Tableau, Trifacta, Looker)
• Ability to decompose and visualize complex datasets by extracting relevant slices
• Experience with at least one of Python, Java or Scala
• Strong analytical and debugging skills (ability to independently research and solve problems)
• Have an understanding of REST APIs
• Are an analytical thinker comfortable with expressing your point of view with data
