Deputy Director of Finance at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH)

Job Description

• The Deputy Director of Finance is a Principal Officer and the Chief Finance Officer of the Hospital
• He/she is responsible to the Chief Medical Director for the day to day administration and control of the financial affairs of the hospital.

The Candidate

• Candidate for the post shall be visionary with proven professional dimensions and have the ability to provide good leadership, possess personal integrity and demonstrate transparency in private and public life, be able to command respect and loyalty of staff
• He/she should be able to provide the Management with appropriate advice and support for all the financial activities of the Hospital.

Qualifications

• The candidate must possess a good honours Degree in Accounting or related fields from recognized University and must be a member of professionally recognized Accounting bodies such as ACA, ACMA, CPH, ACCA and ANAN
• The candidate should also be computer literate with a working knowledge of good accounting packages.

Experience:

• Applicants are required to have a minimum of fifteen (15) years cognate experience, five (5) of which must have been spent as a Chief Accountant in hospital setting.

Terms and Conditions of Service

• The remuneration and other conditions of service should be as obtainable in any Teaching Hospital in the country.
