Job Description

• Manage logistics personnel and logistics systems and direct daily operations.
• Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
• Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
• Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
• Direct distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives of delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
• Analyze financial records to improve efficiency.
• Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
• Implement transportation changes to reduce environmental impact.
• Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
• Develop operating strategies, plans, or procedures for quick and efficient logistics systems.
• Implement transportation changes to reduce environmental impact.
• Communicate freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, using transportation management, electronic logistics marketplace, or electronic freight information systems, to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of transportation services.
• Establish or monitor specific supply chain–based performance measurement systems and monitor organizational procedures to ensure proper functioning.
• Oversee the movement, distribution and storage of products in an organization.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and other related course.
• Professional qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics Management.
• Vast Knowledge in Courier delivery and Logistics System Management.
• Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in a reputable organization.
