Live-In Caregiver / Social Worker at Child Life-Line

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum of B.Sc. in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Child Development and Family Studies, Guidance & Counselling
• Provide daily care and supervision for children in the residential home. 
• Support children’s emotional, social, educational, and behavioral development. 
• Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly environment at all times. 
• Monitor children’s routines, including feeding, hygiene, medication, school attendance, and recreation. 
• Prepare and submit case notes, incident reports, and progress updates. 
• Conduct basic counseling and psychosocial support sessions where necessary. 
• Accompany children to schools, hospitals, therapy sessions, and other appointments when required. 
• Support family tracing, reunification, and follow-up activities where applicable. 
• Work closely with the social work and child protection team to implement care plans. 
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies. 
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings to further enhance your skills on the job.
