Leads Contract Engineer (UK Residents Only) at Human Leadership Resources

Summary: The Lead Contracts Engineer is the company representative at the CSP EPCC Contractor’s procurement office and he/she leads the implementation of CSP EPCC contract procurement processes for the variable cost element of the contract. This includes working with the CSP EPCC Contractor in vendor/bidder selection, tendering, contractor evaluation, selection, and award recommendation for the EPCC subcontracts.

The Lead Contracts Engineer shall be:

• The focal point of the projects’ day-day procurement activities.
• Ensuring execution and management of the project sub-contracts.
• Coordinating interfaces post-contract award through to materials/services delivery to the fabricator’s yard.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:–

• 5+ years’ experience in Procurement /Contracts Administration preferred.
• Engineering background is required.
• Position requires specific experience related Oil and Gas Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning Contracts.
• Understanding of project execution and contracting principles, theories, and concepts.
• Experienced in commercial negotiations, contractor management and contract administration.
• Owner/Operator experience in project management roles preferred.
• UK residence/work permit required.
• 10 to 15 years of related experience is required.
• Local Nigerian experience
