    Female or Male Cook

    AFM Recruit is a recruiting firm based in Lekki phase 1, we are looking to hire a COOK for a prestigious HOSPITALITY company to work as part of their team. The company is based on the island precisely ikoyi as a cook the candidate will be in charge of every of the dishes that will be requested for both local and continental dishes. The cook will be one who knows how to cook very well majorly African dishes and can also serve them in a very neat manner.

    Responsibilities:

    • The COOK must be ready to perform the following functions:
    • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
    • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
    • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
    • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
    • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
    • Stock inventory appropriately
    • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
    • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
    • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
    • Requirements
    • Proven cooking experience
    • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
    • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
    • Familiar with industry’s best practices

    Qualifications:

    • The candidate must have atleast a recognized cooking course  with experience in the same role.
    • The candidate must be one who is tidy and neat enough both off and in the kitchen environment with good hygiene.
    • The candidate should be one who is out spoken and can communicate very well in words and speak.

    Junior Sales Representative/Trainee

    Food Event Cordinator

    General Scope of Position:
    The Food Event Coordinator will report to Marketing Lead.

    Main responsibilities:

    • Will be to process product sample requests, execute sampling events (Road Shows & Demos), corporate and social
    • events, and assist with branding initiatives.
    • This position will require a person who is willing to be hands-on, set up and work events.

    Job Description:

    • Processing of samples requests and  proactively improve current process
    • Assist in the execution of store level marketing and sampling events
    • Closely monitor outside temporary staff and maintain a preferred list of top performers to choose from, making sure they are professional and are representing the properly at all times
    • Maintain proper look for the brands at event booths
    • Meet sales and marketing goals set for each event and provide sales  and marketing reports
    • Coordinate store level sampling with different branches
    • Coordinate the execution of tradeshows for all sales channels: supplies samples, establishing staffing requirements,
    • registration, utilities, scheduling, set up and look of booth.
    • Coordination of corporate and social events including large social events and specified customer meetings (off-site)
    • Assist Marketing Lead with branding initiatives as needed.
