    Senior Media Executive

     

    Description:

    To provide strategic media advisory and routine Media Relations support for all business units in the Caritas group

    • Provide strategic media advisory and lead provision of routine Media Relations support for all business units in the Caritas group
    • Lead daily routine activities and implementation of media related functions for Caritas PR & Caritas Communications – media events, conferences, parleys etc.
    • Draft basic Public Relations materials including news releases, features, media alerts, fact sheets, client meeting summaries, status reports and other materials as directed.
    • Explore and identify ways to integrate social media into business strategies and marketing campaigns
    • Supervise the building and maintenance of content distribution network by way of social media channels
    • Produce and supervise reports and analyses on relevant issues in the media and regularly update media directory and monitor personnel changes in key media outlets

    Desired Skills and Experience

    Communication & Reputation Management

    • Ability to constantly analyze the PR industry and identify current trends, hitherto unnoticed opportunities and develop appropriate strategies to enable the business respond to those trends and harness such opportunities.
    • Excellent Presentation & Communication Skills
    • Ability to transmit information effectively i.e. in clear, unambiguous terms to employees, management and other stakeholders to facilitate the achievement of the goals and objectives of the organisation at all times.

    Qualification:

    • Minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience in a similar position
    • A bachelor’s degree or HND in Social Science, Humanities or other disciplines
    • Possession of certificate by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)
    • Post graduate will be an added advantage

    Digital Media Specialist

     

    Job description

    Candidate to drive the development and marketing of Caritas Digital to support business operations.

    • Drive the development of Caritas Digital as a leading digital/new media service provider to clients
    • Develop strategies to identify potential clients and pitch the services of Caritas Digital
    • Review existing services to current clients and recommend appropriate digital media services to enhance impact and visibility
    • Supervise the building and maintenance of content distribution network by way of social media channels
    • Work closely with Head of Caritas Media to mentor Media Department staff in the interpretation, analysis, and use of media research tools for client-specific problems and participate in client meetings & brainstorming sessions as advised.
    • Produce reports and analyses on relevant issues on digital media which may improve competitiveness of Caritas Digital and add value to clients’ operations
    • Explore and identify ways to integrate social media into business strategies and marketing campaigns of existing clients
    • Identify and advise Head of Caritas Media on partnerships/affiliations with international firms for purpose of improving competitiveness and market share of Caritas Digital

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Hands on experience in the use of digital media tools and platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogs etc
    • Excellent computer skills which must include web development
    • Must be creative, analytic and have an eye for detail

    • Ability to constantly analyze the PR industry and identify bespoke digital media tools and applications to improve clients’ business and brand visibility.
    Qualification
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position

    Assistant Research Manager

     

    Job description

    Responsible for executing assigned research and produce information emanating from research, documentation and analysis. With the guidance of the unit head, develops content to support the activities of the Strategy unit & The Reputation Solutions Faculty and other tasks as may be assigned for attainment of organizational goals.

    Key roles and responsibilities

    • Assist with quality research to support business growth
    • Assist to develop strategy and management of The Reputation Solutions Faculty
    • Assist to develop analysis of market trends and provision of constructive ideas to improve account management
    • Advise on suitability of engagement of third party suppliers for broad research based projects such as reputation/perception audits etc
    • Advise on interpretation, analysis, and use of research tools for client-specific problems where applicable
    • Assist with client management of accounts

    Skills/Knowledge

    • Ability to think out of the box
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent research skills and ability to apply insights thereof to problem-solving
    • Ability to win new businesses through proactive discerning of opportunities
    • Excellent presentation skills (must be proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
    Qualification
    • Minimum of 6 years experience in research related projects in a reputable organization preferably in a public relations firm, advertising or media
    • Verifiable evidence of content development and management such as newspaper, journal or the web
    • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Mass Communication, Public Relations, statistics or social science
    • Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage
    • Possession of certification by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)
