    Training and Business Development Consultant

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time, on-site role located in Victoria Island for a Training and Business Development Consultant. The primary responsibilities include conducting training needs analysis, designing and coordinating training programs, consulting with clients to develop tailored solutions, and leveraging analytical skills to solve complex business challenges. The consultant will also contribute to relationship building with clients, enhancing their organizational efficiencies and strategies to achieve business goals.

    Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Generate leads and actively seek new business opportunities by promoting training services through various channels.
    • Design and deliver comprehensive training programmes tailored to client needs, focusing on enhancing skills and organizational performance.
    • Conduct research to identify trends and training needs and develop training proposals and marketing strategies based on identified needs.
    • Utilize aggressive marketing strategies to maximize enrollment in scheduled courses.
    • Update course materials and ensure timely availability before course commencement.
    • Coordinate and actively participate in training programmes.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
    • Gather feedback from existing clients/customers to enhance current training products and develop new ones.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
    • Provide technical support to and collaborate with other units of the firm and clients/ customers.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc. in Business Admin, Social Sciences, Human Resources, or a related field (minimum of 2:2); a higher degree or relevant certification is an added advantage.
    • 3 - 5 years of work experience. (Proven work experience as a training consultant, training coordinator, or similar role).
    • Good knowledge of Training & Development solutions, Training Needs Analysis, and executing comprehensive training programs.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships and drive business growth.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Detailed and result oriented, with a demonstrable positive attitude with a high level of enthusiasm for the role and field.
    • Demonstrated Analytical Skills to evaluate business challenges and propose effective solutions.
    • Proven experience in a similar role within consulting or professional services, preferably in the Nigerian business environment.
    • Good people management skills and a team player with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and contemporary data management software.
    • Not more than 30 years.

    Compliance Officer

    Job Objective

    To ensure the Bank’s operations fully comply with CBN regulations by implementing effective compliance controls, monitoring regulatory adherence, and supporting Management in maintaining a strong compliance and ethical culture across the bank.

    Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Monitor compliance with CBN regulations, AML/CFT requirements, and other applicable banking laws.
    • Implement and enforce internal compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
    • Conduct routine compliance checks across departments and operational units.
    • Track regulatory circulars and ensure timely implementation within the Bank.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing compliance documentation and responses.
    • Prepare compliance reports, exception logs, and risk observations for Management.
    • Promote compliance awareness and ethical conduct across the Bank.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in banking compliance, risk management, audit, or regulatory-related functions.
    • Basic knowledge of microfinance banking regulations.
    • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
    • High level of integrity and professional judgement.
    • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIBN, CRMI) is an added advantage.
