    Technical Training Speciaist

    Job Summary

    • A Training Specialist designs, delivers, and evaluates training programs to boost employee skills, performance, and engagement, covering needs assessment, material creation (manuals, e-learning), conducting sessions (onboarding, workshops), and administrative tasks, all while staying current with development trends to meet company goals.
    • They act as facilitators, educators, and program managers, ensuring effective learning for staff at all levels.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Needs Assessment: Identify skill gaps through surveys, interviews, and manager consultations.
    • Curriculum Development: Create engaging training content, handouts, e-modules, and manuals.

    • A Technical Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator plans, organizes, and supports technical training, bridging skill gaps by identifying needs, creating/sourcing programs (e.g., software, operations), managing logistics (scheduling, materials), tracking progress, and reporting on effectiveness for technical teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Needs Analysis: Collaborate with technical managers and staff to identify specific technical skill gaps and training requirements.
    • Program Coordination: Schedule, manage logistics (venues, tech), and administer technical training sessions and workshops.
    • Content Development/Sourcing: Assist in creating or sourcing technical training materials, potentially involving eLearning tools or external vendors.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with technical leads, IT, HR, trainers, and participants to ensure smooth program delivery.
    • Technical Onboarding: Oversee technical induction for new hires, ensuring they grasp essential tools and processes.
