    History Teacher

    About the Role

    You’ll inspire and educate college students in historical analysis, civic responsibility, governmental systems, and critical thinking about political processes. This position requires bringing history and current affairs to life while fostering informed, engaged citizens.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Teach History, Civic Education, and Government courses to college-level students
    • Develop engaging lesson plans that cover historical periods, political systems, and civic duties
    • Facilitate discussions on current events, governance, and social issues
    • Teach critical thinking, research, and analytical writing skills
    • Prepare students for examinations and assessments
    • Create assignments that encourage historical inquiry and civic engagement
    • Use diverse teaching methods including debates, case studies, and primary source analysis
    • Evaluate student performance through essays, projects, and examinations
    • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress
    • Participate in departmental meetings and school activities
    • Stay current with curriculum requirements and educational standards

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in History (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
    • Teaching certification or qualification in History 
    • Strong knowledge of historical events, political systems, and governmental structures
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to engage and motivate college-level students
    • Experience with various teaching methodologies and assessment techniques
    • Passion for history 
    • Good classroom management skills

    Store Keeper / Purchasing officer

    About the Role

    • You’ll oversee our storeroom operations, maintain accurate inventory records, and handle the purchasing of supplies and materials. This dual role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, check, and store incoming supplies and materials
    • Verify delivery notes against purchase orders and report discrepancies
    • Maintain organized storage areas and proper stock arrangement
    • Keep accurate records of items received and issued daily
    • Issue supplies to teachers and staff as requested and maintain issue logs
    • Label and categorize items for easy identification and retrieval
    • Assist with stock counting and inventory checks on a regular basis
    • Monitor stock levels and report low supplies to supervisor promptly
    • Ensure storeroom cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards
    • Arrange items using FIFO (First In, First Out) method
    • Support the purchasing process by preparing requisition lists
    • Assist in comparing supplier quotations under supervision
    • Track and file all delivery documents and invoices
    • Conduct weekly store inspections and report damages or expired items
    • Coordinate with vendors for delivery schedules
    • Maintain a register of all suppliers and their contact information
    • Assist in preparing monthly inventory reports
    • Handle basic administrative tasks related to store operations

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Certificate or diploma in storekeeping, inventory management, or related field preferred
    • At least 1 year experience in storekeeping, retail, or inventory management
    • Good organizational and record-keeping abilities
    • Strong attention to detail and reliability
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills

    Content Creator

    About the Role

    • You’ll create compelling visual and written content across our digital platforms, telling the Halifield Schools story through social media, videos, graphics, and marketing materials. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility to work both on-campus and remotely.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
    • Produce high-quality photos and videos of school events, activities, and campus life
    • Design graphics, flyers, and promotional materials for school programs and events
    • Write compelling captions, blog posts, and website content
    • Edit and produce short-form videos and reels showcasing student achievements and school life
    • Develop content calendars and maintain consistent posting schedules
    • Monitor social media engagement and analytics to optimize content strategy
    • Capture testimonials from students, parents, and staff
    • Create newsletters and email marketing content
    • Collaborate with teachers and staff to highlight academic programs and achievements
    • Maintain brand consistency across all content and platforms
    • Stay current with social media trends and best practices
    • Respond to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner
    • Support school marketing campaigns and enrollment initiatives

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or related field
    • Proven experience in content creation and social media management
    • Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
    • Strong photography and videography skills
    • Excellent writing and storytelling abilities
    • Knowledge of social media platforms and analytics tools
    • Creative mindset with attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Understanding of educational environments (preferred)
