Tailor Trainer at ESBI Entrepreneurs

We are seeking a competent and dedicated Tailoring Instructor to support the training and development of students in garment construction and fashion production. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering practical and structured instruction while promoting professionalism, creativity, and technical excellence within the tailoring workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical and theoretical instruction in tailoring and garment construction
• Train students in measurement, pattern drafting, cutting, sewing, and finishing
• Supervise workshop sessions and ensure safe use of equipment
• Guide students in producing complete garments
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Maintain discipline and professional standards in the workshop
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of sewing machines and tools

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on tailoring experience
• Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques
• Ability to operate industrial sewing machines
• Good communication and mentoring skills
• Vocational or technical training in tailoring/fashion design

Teaching experience and Trade Test certification will be an added advantage.
