Nail Technician at Amy Consulting

Key Responsibilities

• Nail Care Services: Provide high-quality manicures and pedicures, including nail shaping, cuticle care, hand/foot massages, and specialized treatments.
• Technical Applications: Expertly apply regular lacquer, gel polish, hard gel overlays, acrylic extensions, and nail tips according to client preferences and safety standards.
• Nail Art & Design: Execute creative nail art concepts, ranging from classic French manicures and minimal designs to advanced hand-painted trends, chrome finishes, and stone placements.
• Client Consultation: Assess client nail and skin health, recommend appropriate services or shapes, and offer professional advice on aftercare and retail maintenance products.
• Sanitation & Safety: Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing all multi-use metal tools (via autoclave/liquid disinfectant) and discarding single-use items (files, buffers) after every client.
• Station Maintenance: Keep your individual work table and pedicure station clean, highly organized, and fully stocked with required fresh towels, monomers, polymers, and gels.
• Retention & Care: Build strong, lasting relationships with clients through a warm demeanor, excellent communication, and consistent, flawless results.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of active experience working as a nail technician in a salon or studio environment.

Technical Skills:

• Mastery of acrylic application, bead control, and structure balancing.
• Proficiency with e-files (electric drills) for safe cuticle prep and product removal.
• Deep understanding of various nail shapes (almond, stiletto, coffin, square).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, high attention to detail, and steady hand coordination.
• Ability to manage time efficiently to stay on schedule with back-to-back bookings.
• Strong team player who communicates well with front desk staff regarding schedules and client add-ons.
