    Sales Executive – Wholesales Open Market Lagos

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Executive – Wholesales Open Market to drive product sales and visibility within major open markets in Lagos State. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in wholesale open-market sales and strong existing relationships across Trade Fair, Oshodi, Bariga, Oyingbo, Mushin, and Okearin. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets in designated open markets.
    • Build and maintain strong business relationships with key wholesalers, distributors, and major market retailers.
    • Ensure effective product visibility and availability across all assigned markets.
    • Identify new business opportunities, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals efficiently.
    • Monitor competitors’ activities and provide market intelligence reports.
    • Collaborate with the sales support and logistics teams to ensure prompt order delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Track daily sales performance and provide timely updates and reports to the Sales Manager.
    • Execute brand activation and promotional activities within the markets to drive product awareness.
    • Collect feedback from customers and market stakeholders to support continuous improvement in product offerings and service delivery.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in wholesale open-market sales within Trade Fair, Oshodi, Bariga, Oyingbo, Mushin, and Okearin.
    • Must reside in Lagos and be familiar with the trading dynamics of the listed markets.
    • Strong network of wholesalers and retailers within the territory.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
    • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
