    Officer, LPG Retail Sales (East)

    The role holder's responsibility is to keep track, evaluate and monitor the day-to-day activities of the LPG business ensuring the right process is followed in delivering various responsibilities which involve sales, service, safety and maintenance.

    Job Details

    • Establishing sales of LPG and related products, making proper recommendations and applications of products sold, and marketing and service
    • Maintain and monitor LPG delivery schedule and sales to customers in a manner which will result in increased satisfaction
    • Proactively gather current customer data/information and regularly update customer database to ensure reliability and accuracy
    • Maintain minimum stock of LPG at retail outlet LPG plants being covered
    • Monitor LPG plant stock levels and product re-ordering
    • Embark on planned prospection visits to potential customers in the territory
    • Knowledge of and utilization of necessary resources to make proper recommendations of products sold to customers
    • Provide LRM with pricing updates, periodic reports of current competitors’ strategies
    • Developing and maintaining routing, keep fill systems; performing customer tank maintenance; resolving customer complaints

    Requirements

    Eligibility

    Education

    • A bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, marketing, mathematics, business administration, or related field.

    Experience

    • 2-5 years relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing etc
    • Relevant professional certification is an added advantage

    Skills

    • Good understanding of the LPG business
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving with a results-driven mindset.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
    • Good understanding of the local and international Oil & Gas sector including guiding principles and regulations. Good knowledge of marketing operations in the downstream oil and gas marketing sector.

    Officer, Commercial Sales – SE/SS

    The role holder is expected to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the Commercial sector by effectively selling all the company’s products and related services. Also, they are responsible for management of all sales activities across the sector and provides necessary support to the Unit head and team members to achieve set targets.

    Job Details

    • Sales and marketing of petroleum products such as AGO, Lubricants and PMS to customers in the required region. 
    •  Establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services. 
    • Making telephone calls and in-person visits and carrying out presentations to existing and prospective customers to win bids / businesses. 
    •  Researching sources for developing prospective customers and gathering of information to determine their potential. 
    • Developing seasoned proposals/quotations for presentation to prospective customers. 
    • Expediting the resolution of customers’ challenges and complaints to foster relationships. 
    • Analyzing the territory/market’s potential and determining the value of existing and prospective customers. 
    • Creating and managing customers’ value plan by highlighting profiles and value opportunities 
    • Identifying competitive advantages and leveraging on them to increase the organization’s bottom-line 
    • Providing reports on customer needs, challenges and competitors. 
    • Planning and organizing personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment 
    • Providing historical records by maintaining records on customer sales in the territory

    Requirements

    Education

    • A bachelor's degree with a minimum of a 2.2 in marketing, business administration, or related field.

    Experience

    • 4-5 years relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing etc roles

    Skills

    • Good knowledge of AP’s products and services
    • Good understanding of the local and international Oil & Gas sector including guiding principles and regulations as well as vast knowledge of marketing operations in the downstream oil and gas marketing sector within Nigeria. Knowledge of product sales and market is also an added characteristic.
    • Good customer service, relationship management tools, networking/teaming skills.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving with a results-driven mindset.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
