    Nigeria Marketing and Operations Coordinator

    About the Role

    • The Program Marketing Coordinator will work directly with unit leads to translate their operational goals into compelling farmer-facing campaigns, harmonising strategic messaging and maximising farmer participation across our Sales, Credit, Trees, and Market Access units.
    • The role strengthens the division’s capacity to improve farmers' adoption and retention in our multiple programs.

    Responsibilities
    Strategic Marketing Alignment (Cross-Unit Strategy):

    • Collaborate with the Sales and Credit Leads to design campaigns that drive client enrollment and reinforce repayment behaviours during the farming season.
    • Partner with the Trees Lead to develop adoption strategies for free agroforestry trees and sales strategies for High-Value Trees (HVT).
    • Work with the Market Access Specialist to create sourcing campaigns that encourage farmers to aggregate and sell their produce back to the organisation.
    • Harmonise messaging across all units to ensure farmers receive a consistent, clear narrative (e.g., linking input purchases to market access opportunities).

    Administrative and Operational Support:

    • Collaborate with Comms in the design, production, and distribution of marketing materials (flyers, posters, training guides, radio scripts) tailored to specific program goals.
    • Manage the production timeline for all seasonal campaigns, ensuring materials are ready for key operational windows (e.g., enrolment and repayment deadlines, planting season).
    • Ensure all content is localised, culturally appropriate, and effectively communicates the value proposition of our diverse product offerings (inputs, trees, market access).

    Field Enablement & Event Support:

    • Equip field teams with the "marketing toolkit" they need to succeed, including pitch scripts, FAQs, and visual aids for community meetings.
    • Coordinate and execute field-based marketing events, such as roadshows, product/farm demonstrations, and town hall meetings, to enhance community engagement.
    • Train field staff and supervisors on how to effectively deliver key marketing messages to farmers.

    Market Intelligence & Feedback:

    • Conduct rapid market research to understand farmer preferences, barriers to adoption, and satisfaction with our products and services.
    • Track and review the performance of past marketing campaigns
    • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns (e.g., tracking conversion rates from engagements, measuring awareness levels).

    Team and Stakeholder Support:

    • Serve as the program’s marketing data liaison and technical lead for marketing reporting.
    • Build team capacity by training staff in quality marketing, utilising marketing tools, and implementing marketing strategies.
    • Support program units with marketing performance insights and course correction interventions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related fields
    • At least 2+ years of marketing experience.
    • Strong behaviour change communication (BCC) strategy skills.
    • Strong project and stakeholder management

    • Data analysis and visualisation (Google Sheets or Excel)
    • Basic Graphic Design

    Nigeria Trees Senior Field Coordinator

    About the Role

    • Seeking an experienced professional with over 3 years of experience managing agroforestry or other field-based rural/development projects, with great team and project management skills, to help us reach more farmers & serve them with tree products.

    Responsibilities
    Delivery of Program KPI:

    • Support the successful execution of Trees field operations at state/regional level, which includes field team set up, nursery set up and management, seedling production and sales, farmer enrolment, farmer adoption and post distribution activities with the target of 100% timely completion across all.
    • Support the successful delivery of other program division targets as assigned to ensure OAF is serving farmers holistically across multiple business units.

    Team Management:

    • State-wide field team management, including field directors, assistant field directors, field managers, field assistants (and/or other casuals engaged at the site and nursery level), and nursery managers with a responsibility to serve a minimum of 160,000 farmers annually.
    • Train, motivate, mentor, and evaluate team members through direct management, as in the case of FDs/AFDs and/or indirect management of field managers to drive program goals across the state.

    Talent Management:

    • Conduct regular skills gap assessments in collaboration with L&D to identify team training needs for trees, either at the state, regional or program-wide level.
    • Lead annual recruitment campaigns for open roles.

    Research and Program Execution:

    • Undertake independent stretch projects that contribute to the program’s success as specified by the program leadership.
    • Liaise with collaborators from other farmer-facing and support departments to support innovations and new approaches that will help OAF serve more farmers in better/more sustainable ways

    Training and meetings:

    • Attend all relevant Programs Division and Trees department events as required, including trainings and meetings.
    • Support and participate regularly in district-level meetings and occasionally pod-level meetings to build fluency of field-level challenges, farmer insights and execution approaches.

    Nigeria Government Relations & Partnerships Lead

    About the Role

    • The Government Relations & Partnerships Lead plays a strategic role in shaping One Acre Fund Nigeria's external engagement, building partnerships, and ensuring policy alignment at national and sub-national levels.
    • You will lead the organisation's relationship with government institutions, donors, and external partners to drive compliance, collaboration, and long-term program sustainability.
    • This is a senior leadership role with direct managerial responsibilities for the Government Relations and Communications teams.
    • You will report directly to the Country Director.

    Responsibilities
    Drive national-level strategy:

    • Develop external relations strategy (at national level, state level ) and lead the execution of complex streams of work, including establishing and maintaining relationships with key players in the agricultural sector such as Ministries of Agriculture, NGOs, local authorities, research institutes and others to unlock opportunities and de-risk the program.

    Business Relations & Partnerships:

    • Build a pipeline of institutional donors, both domestically and globally to raise funds necessary to support One Acre Fund Nigeria's growth goals
    • Ideation, proposal and scoping for potential commercial and government partnerships that further One Acre Fund Nigeria in the areas of impact, scale and sustainability
    • Risk tracking and overseeing relationship health management across existing business partnerships

    Policy and Intelligence work:

    • Drive organizational risk management on key issues related to political and regulatory trends. E.g. election monitoring and advise program leadership on course of action
    • Build expertise on agriculture related, non-profit, social enterprise and microfinance policy issues (i.e. subsidy programs, extension, market access, etc.) that are relevant to One Acre Fund Nigeria's operations, and design strategies to respond to both opportunities and future risk.
    • Support program expansion through relationship management with relevant authorities in new or targeted areas of operation.

    Compliance:

    • Monitor legal and regulatory changes at national and state level, and provide advisory and update reports to senior management.
    • Secure relevant permits and licenses for our products and services, and ensure that the program is fully compliant with relevant government policies and regulations
    • Cultivate relations with regulators and government contacts for information gathering and troubleshooting purposes
    • Liaise with One Acre Fund's legal, immigration, and finance departments on key contracts and compliance issues, as required

    Strategic communications:

    • Be the main external communicator for One Acre Fund Nigeria
    • Develop and execute One Acre Fund Nigeria's media relations and PR, including managing press relations and staff training
    • Produce communications materials to engage key contacts and keep them informed of our work, including reports, briefing notes and official written correspondence.
    • Drive participation in agricultural shows and other external events
    • Work with the Field Operations and Innovations teams to develop communications strategies and products to drive field-facing targets
    • Coordinate closely with other internal teams on other specific projects, such as with the Business Development team on fundraising, as required

    People Management:

    • Manage and coordinate the activities of the department's staff across our regions of operations. Deliver training on work planning, strategic thinking and provide mentoring for the team.

    Qualifications
    Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

    • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred in Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, Law, International Development, or Business.
    • 6+ years of experience working with governments, policy institutions, or development organizations, including experience managing people and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
    • Proven experience analyzing policies, legislation, and regulatory frameworks to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and managing multi-year public or private partnerships from concept through execution.
    • Strong technical knowledge of government engagement, compliance management, and partnership development.
    • English required; proficiency in Hausa is an added advantage.
