    Marketing Executive

    Responsibilities

    • Study assigned revenue targets and develop business plans and models to achieve set targets.
    • Market research, feasibility study, client needs assessment to determine the most efficient way to reach patients/clients and convert them.
    • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential clients, discovering and exploring opportunities.
    • Create awareness about the Outreach/Babies Matter facilities.
    • Identify key stakeholders and seal referral partnerships with them.
    • Close business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations.
    • Build the business portfolio of the organizations in terms of daily increase in company’s profitability.
    • Educating the prospective clients on outreach value proposition.
    • Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines to all actual and prospective clients.
    • Maintain the business development and client databases.
    • Manage relationships with referral partners to ensure continuum of partnership.
    • Liaise with other members of the Outreach/Babies Matters hospitals to develop products and services in line with the needs of patients/clients.
    • Be responsible for developing own skills and knowledge and contribute to the development of others.
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on all business development activities to the management team.
    • Attend management meetings and make presentations.
    • Research, evaluate, learn and practice new trends in the industry.
    • Prepare and submit on the required format all information necessary for budgeting purposes, accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Meet all financial and customer base targets set by management.
    • Coordinate all business development activities in the branch.
    • Any other duty that may be assigned.

    Education and Qualifications

    • Degree in Business Administration/Management/Marketing or any of the social sciences
    • At least 4 years marketing experience
    • At least 2 years experience in same role in a hospital
    • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities in clinical duties, research and teaching.

    Requirements & Skills:

    • Knowledge of marketing mix
    • Target oriented
    • Product knowledge
    • Good communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to work long hours, often under pressure
    • Demonstrable leadership skills with an ability to demonstrate a flexible leadership style

    Medical Laboratory Scientist

    Responsibilities

    • Perform tasks, duties and all laboratory orders according to established protocols and procedures.
    • Sets up and prepares all laboratory investigations under the safe and quality conditions.
    • Quality assurance and maintenance of all laboratory investigations.
    • Maintain laboratory supplies inventory by checking stocks to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders and verifying receipt of supplies.
    • Maintains laboratory equipment by ensuring quality standards, certifying instrument performance; arranging equipment replacement, service and repairs.
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
    • Ensure that professional standards are maintained and developed in line with best practise, research and are evidence based.
    • Assist with recruitment, selection and orientation of staff.
    • Maintains staff performance by training, counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
    • Ensure staff rostering meets demands and is cost effective.
    • Be responsible for developing own skills and knowledge and contribute to the development of others.
    • Work cooperatively and supportively with the hospital administration and physicians to ensure service are available and cost effective, meeting quality and regulatory guidelines.
    • Prepare and submit weekly reports on all activities to the Medical Director.
    • Researches, evaluates, learn and practise new trends in the industry.

    Education and Licenses

    • Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science.
    • At least 2 years of experience working in a busy hospital.
    • Have considerable experience in administration of health matters.
    • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities in clinical duties, research and teaching.

    • Knowledge of laboratory protocols and skills
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to work long hours, often under pressure
    • Demonstrable leadership skills with an ability to demonstrate a flexible leadership style
