    Accountant

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is preferred.
    • 4-6 years of proven experience as an Accountant in Nigeria, preferably in an engineering, manufacturing or oil and gas company.
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
    • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel (Intermediate to advanced excel skills) and SAGE X3 ERP systems.

    Job Description

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, accounts payable/receivable, Fixed assets, Inventory etc.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, prepare and file tax returns, and handle any tax-related inquiries.
    • Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports for timely month, quarterly & year end closings, budgets for management review, providing insights and analysis as needed.
    • Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing necessary schedules, documentation and support.
    • Oversee payroll activities, including reconciliation, disbursement, and compliance per HR guidelines.
    • Conduct ledger analysis, variance analysis, assess financial performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes and implementing best practices.
    • Ensure reconciliation of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contract Assets, Contract Liabilities, Bank etc.

    Treasury Manager

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
    • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in treasury, preferably in an engineering, manufacturing or oil and gas company.
    • Minimum of ICAN certification. Any other professional qualification e.g. ACCA, CIMA is a plus.
    • MBA or CFA designation is an added advantage.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets, risk management, and investment principles.
    • Proficiency in financial modelling and treasury management systems.

    Job Description

    • Oversee and provide reporting on daily cash position, cash flow forecasting, ensuring optimal liquidity for operational needs.
    • Overseeing accounts receivable & accounts payable process.
    • Assess and mitigate financial risks related to market fluctuations, interest rates, and currency exchange.
    • Develop and execute investment strategies to maximize returns while maintaining an appropriate level of risk.
    • Develop and implement strategies for surplus cash management, including investment activities that prioritize security and yield optimization.
    • Monitor debt levels and compliance with covenants.
    • Participate in project reviews and provide financial insights to support critical decision making. Analyse project profitability, assess funding needs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

    • Partner closely with Engineering leadership, project managers, and other finance team members to provide financial guidance and support operational activities. Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and investors.

    Financial Manager

    Job Requirements 

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
    • MBA or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in accounting, finance and leadership roles within the oil and gas engineering services industry.
    • Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS and proficiency in SAGE X3 would be preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards, industry-specific financial practices, regulations, and reporting requirements.
